    Windows 11 and 10 Desktop randomly freezing while using and while idle


    Good evening. My PC has been randomly freezing multiple times today. Either the screen will be on and the mouse will just stop moving or when the system is idle and I go to move the mouse to awaken it it does nothing. I was working with Windows 11 Home, which I upgraded from Windows 10. I tried repairing it and resetting it to a previous point in time but both failed. I finally did a reset and kept my settings and files and it reverted to Windows 10 again. I rebuilt the files and desktop and Windows was updated. I reinstalled programs, drivers, etc. I decided not to upgrade until I kne

    I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
    Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin
