Windows 10: Windows 11 and DVI-D not working

I am trying to connect to an external monitor using an HDMI to DVI-D adapter and it does not display.My computer is indeed detecting the external monitor and I can move things to the external monitor and edit settings on the monitor, but nothing is displaying on the secondary screen. It just gives me a black screen without entering power saving mode.It feels like the computer is sending signals to the monitor, but the monitor can not decode the signals to display on the monitor.I suspect a driver issue, I have tried everything to update the driver, but had no luck.I am now suspecting that wind

DVI-d not working as it should

I am not very computer literate but I enjoy gaming and have had 4 successful builds over the last 7 years. I have encountered an issue I can not solve and have not found any thread anywhere where someone had the same issue. I recently built my 12 year
old son a gaming computer and had zero issues with his. I built myself nearly the same computer 4 months later with a couple differences and I am stumped on how to solve this issue. I can not get my new monitor to work using the DVI-d input. It works fine
on hdmi. When I turn on the computer, it boots up to a point and then the monitor goes into sleep mode. I can enter Bios and change settings no problem, but as soon as I save and exit the monitor says "no signal detected" and goes to sleep. This only happens
when I have DVI-d cable connected. HDMI works fine. I have updated Windows, I have updated Bios, I have purchased a new DVI-d cable, all with the same results. I tried using a different monitor and had the same issues. HDMI works fine, but DVI-d does not.
If it was a bad GPU DVI-d output, then it should not show Bios. The same logic applies to the monitor DVI-d input. If it was faulty, it would not show the Bios screen. I can only assume it is a Windows 10 issue but I can not be sure. I am not using any adapters
between the GPU and the monitor. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Here is my build:

Continuum with VGA/DVI-D only monitor

Hello there,

I am planning to try out Continuum with a Lumia 950XL. The monitor I should connect it to has only VGA and DVI-D input connectors, and it supports a 1920 x 1200 resolution on a 24" panel with 16:10 aspect ratio.

• Would it be possible to get a stable, reliable and functional connection between the Lumia and such monitor?
• The resolution and aspect ratio of the external monitor would be correctly interpreted by the Lumia or would I face problems in image size, resolution or aspect ratio of the contect that I see on screen?

My idea is to buy the Display Dock, connect the phone on one end and an HDMI to DVI-D cable on the other end.

How does it sound?
