Windows 10: Windows 11 and greyed out taskbar search box

Hi,I have been trying to set up 2 new computers and installing windows 11.At first the search box on the task bar in Windows works fine.I ionstalled most of my apps and then the computer did any update. After update the search bar is not usable. Only clicking the little bing icon on the right of the taskbar works but this opens in web. I cannot enter text to find things like "Settings" etc on my computer.

This issue with search box may happen if it's hidden from the taskbar.

To resolve the issue, follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the taskbar and select Search.
• Select Show search box.

Please try the below and check if you can see search bar on taskbar:

Steps:

• Right click on Taskbar, move the mouse cursor on to
  Search option.
• Select Show Search icon (You will see Search icon beside Start)
• Select Show search bar (You will see Search bar beside Start)

Windows 10: how to restore search bar in the taskbar?

When I right click on Taskbar, there is no "Search" in the list.
