Windows 10: Windows 11 animations are laggy when i connect secondary monitor to my laptop

Hello. I am having a problem with my windows 11 animations when i connect secondary display to my laptop. All the animations are laggy And not smooth as without the monitor. I am using a Asus taking laptop with i7 And rtx 3060. I set the laptop to maximum performance And i tried plugging the display to the poet connected directly to gpu And more or less the result is the same. When the secondary monitor is connected all animations are laggy. Btw i dont know if it hs something to do with each display having different regrese rage the laptop 144hz And the externa just 60hz I would be glad fo

Laggy Windows 10 Animations

So I have a new laptop (Dell i7559-5012GRY). It has an intel i7-6700HQ and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. But for some reason, animations on Windows 10 are somewhat laggy. The OS itself is quick and snappy, but the animations are a bit choppy. Can this be caused by
a 4K screen? Thanks.

 

Laggy Maximising Animations For Many Apps

Thanks for replying. I have ran the command you suggested and I can defintiely see some improvement. The system detected some correupted files and fixed them. I then restarted the PC and now the animations are running quite well. However, this only lasts
until there is little or no load on the PC. If I open any more demanding program like Google Chrome, the animations are laggy (only for the modern apps, once again). If I close the demanding programs the animations are smooth again. Any ideas why this is happening?

In this case, we would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check.

1. Launch Skype.
2. Drag the Skype Window to secondary monitor.
3. Resize the window as per your preference.
4. Maximize the Window and Restore Down.
5. Then close the skype window in secondary monitor.
6. Then try re-launching and check if the issue resolves.
