Windows 10: Windows 11: Annoying extra margin/padding everywhere, especially in explorer another...

Is there any fix yet to reduce the padding in windows 11 that is.... everywhere? Microsoft appears to be determined to fit less and less useful information on a screen at a time making everything feel empty and cumbersome to get to the options/icons you need. Is this a trend, is windows 12 going to be limited to two options on the screen at a time?Windows explorer in windows 11 is the most obvious prevalent example. Note Pad margin

why does the Note Pad margin always begin at extreme left of page and how can I adjust that? I've already in page setup moved the margin measurements several times but the cursor always starts extreme left on page view - not good!
