Windows 10: Windows 11 App Taskbar Icons Invisible After Idle Sleep

The problem I am experiencing is the loss of the icon on the taskbar when my laptop is in sleep mode when idle not in use for a few minutes. This problem does not appear when I choose to sleep mode via the taskbar, it only appears when I am not using the laptop and the laptop goes into sleep mode automatically either when using the battery or when the laptop is attached to the charger. the icon will reappear when I open the program / do activities in the program. this is really troublesome

Windows 11 App Taskbar Icons Always Invisible After Sleep

Just fresh installed windows 11 yesterday. All updates are already installed too, But when my laptop goes to sleep mode because I'm idle after waking it up, the app icons on taskbars are always missing/invisible. It's not missing. They are still there but just invisible. Is there any fix to this? Or it's just the current bug from windows 11. The start menu and search icon are not invisible, only the installed apps that are invisible on the taskbar.

I had some invisible icons on my taskbar (not all of them, seems to be only windows apps) and I tried an online fix which suggested deleting the icon cache. However, this didn't work and now I have no thumbnails for any of my files so I can't tell what anything is. Very frustrating so would appreciate any help.

the solution below worked for some users:

Step 1: Use CTRL-ALT-DEL and choose to open Task Manager.

Step 2: Choose "More Details" at the bottom of Task Manager to expand Task Manager.

Step 3: Go to "File" and choose "Run New Task".

Step 4: Type "cmd" in the "Open" field.

Step 5: Type explorer.exe and change date/time to the previous day.
