running Windows 11 ARM64 latest updates applied as of today. Running in parallels latest version available todayPrint spooler not starting. Error says dependent service cannot be found or is marked for deletion.I can see that the print notify service fails to start with Error 126.tried a clean boot. tried to start the print notify service from command line. no error, no joy.oh, and yes, this did work for a whole year prior.in short, i can't print, can't see existing printers, can't start the print spooler, can't start the Print notify service.regardsUli

Print Spooler Can't Start - Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start.

I am having the same issue with a Canon MG3100 Pixma printer. I recently upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. I had not tried to print until several days after the upgrade. Here is the message:

Windows could not start the Print Spooler service on Local Computer.

Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start.

I have tried removing the device and reinstalling using the original installation CD.But during Step 2 (Installation), I get the following message:

MP Drivers

Processing cannot be continued because the Windows Print Spooler service has been stopped. Start the Print Spooler service and then try again.

Trying the spooler service manual start via command prompt route accomplished nothing.

Nothing has worked. The latest attempt to print a .pdf document, I get an Acrobat Reader message - Before you can print you must install a printer.

Can someone please help, Murphy's Law is striking, I have an important presentation due soon and I need to be able to see batch information in print view (hardcopy) to then refine my presentation from that data.

HTTP dependency for print spooler

I'm using Windows 10 and lost print capability with my Epson XP-810 printer following an automatic update that occurred overnight on 26 September. I went into services and right clicked on print spooler and checked on dependencies. RPC and HTTP were
listed. I started RPC, set it for automatic and went looking for HTTP. HTTP was not listed so I'm unable to start the print spooler. I went through this process about a year ago and had no problem as the HTTP service was listed but it's no longer there.
How can I restore the HTTP function?
