    Windows 11 ASUS Vivobook Black Screen under Specific Circumstances


    When I turn my laptops brightness all the way down and close the lid even just a couple inches from normal open position, the screen goes black and nothing does anything except for the power button, which is still white indicating the laptop is on. If I tap it, the white light turns off immediately, and if I tap it again, it turns on again immediately, but the screen does not change. I've tried Windows+Ctrl+Shift+B while black-screened to no avail, and doing it while my screen was working did not fix the problem. I've tried searching for updated display drivers, and it didn't find any. The b

    Hello, I've been having this issue on my other laptop that I've been using for years (about 2018-2019), My ASUS vivobook S has been experiencing this glitch in which the screen goes black after the manufacturer logo and the only thing you can use is the mouse cursor.

    What I attempted

    Advanced options startup repair

    restarting,

    Worst case scenario, I'll have to reset
