Windows 10: Windows 11 Audio Issue

Hey Guys,So I've noticed with windows 11 that a feature that previously existed in windows 10 is now gone. I have a headset with multiple audio devices built into it. Previously in windows 10 they were split out into different devices and could be managed by this window and showed as separate devices. However, with windows 11 they are the same device. So by default my headset uses the "Hands Free" audio instead of the preferred regular audio which is higher quality. As shown here it doesn't show the different types of audio. However; within "Device manager" I can see the different audio device

Audio 'dip' issue with Windows 10

Method1: I suggest you to run an audio troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter.



Method2: Uncheck the enhancement feature in sound options.

• Press X from the key board and select control panel.
• Select sounds under control panel.
• Go to advance setting and uncheck the enhancement feature and check if that helps.
