Windows 10: Windows 11 audio will not allow enhance audio to reinstall.

I have tried all the normal options including: uninstalling realtek, resetting windows, reverting to an older driver etc. This audio is sooo bad and WINDOWS 11 will not allow eq adjustments. I do not want to install a 3rd party eq dolby atmos or other bc my speakers are fine, it is only on my headphones that the audio appears to be very high pitched.

Audio Enhancements

One step that we could try is to manually re-install the Audio Enhancement, and see if it helps. First, go to HP's website and download the latest Audio Enhancement installer (IDT) and save it to your Downloads folder. Once done, follow the remaining steps
below:

• Search for Control Panel via Cortana search and hit the
  Enter key.
• Open the Device Manager and click Sound, Video and Game controllers.
• Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall.
• Restart your PC.
• Once your PC restarts, it should automatically load all audio driver. Let it complete the process.
• Go to the Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select
  Run as administrator.

Once complete, check if you have the enhancements back and let us know the outcome.

Audio Enhancement Disabed but wont play audio or video

All the steps have been tried. I have been dealing with this issue since last week so many of the steps you suggested or sent had been tried already and a few more than once. The PC has been through a soft reset, a factory reset, and I also did your suggestion of the repair reset.

I am still getting the same issue. When the audio enhancement is not on the audio does not play, the test tone audio fails, no local video files can play either. No YouTube videos or any online video plays. Youtube screen will say an audio rendering issue. Local audio files will give error and say it is unsupported coding...0X8000FFFF, when the enhancement is on there is no issue at all

Drivers, Bios, chips etc are up to date. I have had this laptop for less than 2 months, so I did not really have any 3rd party software installed.

Troubleshooter even suggest disabling the enhancement but again...this is the problem.
