Windows 10: windows 11 background browse files not showing

Discus and support windows 11 background browse files not showing in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I am not able to change my background because when i browse for new pictures it is not showing in the folder....     Firstly, thank you dave for your attention! i followed this 2 steps already .dave but i don't know why it's not worrking .after browse it's show nothing no any pictures in my pc it's showing empty folders! dave, i don't know what should do now.

    My os is windows 11 home and i can't change my background and lock screen wallpapers. because of when i browse pictures all the files are empty files not showing any pictures to select. what should i do now? i have tried many methods but still not working! plz help me!

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Open File Explorer, then go to your Pictures folder, if you right click a file in there, and select 'Set as desktop background', does that work?

    2

    To try to solve the error in the Settings app, in File Explorer, paste this into the address bar and press Enter.

    %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Themes

    In the resulting folder, delete the TranscodedWallpaper file

    Restart (not shut down) your PC and check if you can then browse to find a background image.
