  1. Windows 11 backup: can't define folders as in Windows 10!

Hi,Something's changed. Under W10 you could define a list of any folders you wanted - including where I keep all my project files, separately from the standard Windows folders. Now on W11, I can't see where to do this any more! You seem to be able to backup only what Windows decides.Where can I define my own backup tree? Thanks for any help,Duncan

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. Reliable backup software for Windows 7?

Thanks. Do you know if Easus ToDo Backup Free offers an option to just preserve the full Windows folder structure, without using some disc image format?

I mean, what happens if Easus ToDo Backup is not upgraded for, say, Windows 11 and I need to access the files in a disc image that I had made on Windows 10?
