Windows 10: Windows 11 Bad System Config Info Error

So basically I am trying to migrate OS system from HDD to SSD, I was using minitool partition wizard as a tool to migrate. When it was migrating the SSD keep on disconnected for some reason, and it didn't happened before when my HDD being the main system drive. After a few more tried, it migrate successfully but pc will turn off randomly, showing blue screen with BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO_ERROR even after I had updated BIOS Driver, and SSD was shown disconnected. Right now I reinstall windows 11 back to my HDD and trying to migrate again back to SSD, it disconnect again.motherboard : MPG B550 GAM

Got it. In that case switch to the WinRE Repair Mode or bootable media provided in this tutorial which includes everything possible to get Windows started, up to if necessary replacing the User account in order to save the install, doing an automated Reset, or the gold standard Clean Install:

If you have files that aren't backed up then there is a step to rescue them first. using the Command Prompt in WinRE or bootable media:

• When do you get the error message?
  
• Does the computer boot to the Desktop?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer recently?
  

I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned in the article
Error 0x74: Bad_system_config_info and see if that helps.



Note: The last step in the above article talks about performing a reset on the computer. Resetting the computer will delete all the files and applications from the computer. Do not perform reset on your computer.

Bad Config Info error

Good day.

I am attempting to resolve a Bad Config Info error on a laptop. I tried the bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd and it comes back with results "Total Identified Windows Installations: 0" What would be the most appropriate next step?
