    Windows 11 Bitdefender problem


    I woke up today and noticed something on my pc task bar called "Bitdefender endpoint security tools". I have no idea what Bitdefender is, and I do not know why this is on pc. When I right click the icon, it only gives me the options "Show" and "About". When I clicked on both options, nothing happened. I cannot find the location of bitdefender anywhere on my pc. Not a single drive, not downloads, not in backup etc has it. Task manager has nothing related to bitdefender in it, across all tabs. I opened the command prompt with admin rights to see if I had the uninstall tool located in there and I

    BitDefender missing

    Hi,

    Thank you for being a part of Windows 10.

    As an initial troubleshooting step, I would suggest you to search for BitDefender in the search next to start. If you are not able to find and if you have BitDefender CD/DVD, then I would suggest you to re-install BitDefender.

    Windows 11 Bitdefender problem

    Is Bitdefender recognized

    IMO it's best to uninstall each and every security product before upgrading and to also use the appropriate removal tool from this list:

    List of anti-malware product removal tools

    I suggest you ask/inform yourself if your Bitdefender product is compatible with Windows 10 and then install it after upgrading to Windows 10...
