Windows 10: [Windows 11]Black screen after login with cursor visible. Cannot access any applications or...

Hey guys. I’ve been having trouble with my custom built PC running win11. I’ve had this computer for almost a year already and it’s already giving me these kinds of issues. Once I startup the PC, it goes on normally but once I login the screen just blacks out and all that’s left is my cursor to move around. Some will say go to task manager and that will solve it well it doesn’t work in my case scenario. Strangely enough after 10 minutes the pc boots finally with all of my apps and stuff but I can’t access any of them, all I get are error messages, even when trying to update drivers seen below.

Windows 11 black screen with cursor problem

If I tried to login in windows 11 if my company laptop with organisation IP and dns,it's showing Black screen with cursor but if tried to login with internet connection it's working fine but if I tried to login without any network it's completely showing Black screen with cursor.

I tried safe scan, updated drivers,safemode login, video driver updates and even tried to remove drivers but nin of the any suggestions working please help me with this.

 

Windows 11- Black screen with only mouse cursor visible before login screen

I have Dell Vostro 5481 laptop Core i7, 16 GB RAM. I had Windows 10 Pro, upgraded to Windows 11 and started facing this issue. When I power on the laptop after Dell logo I can hear windows boot sound but screen is black with only mouse pointer visible, I can move the mouse pointer, keyboard lights are working (CAPS/ NUM lock). I can't even get task manager with CTRL+ALT+DEL or CTRL+Shift+Esc.

I was able to login to Window 11 after upgrade was complete but after reboot it got stucked on login screen.

I tried fresh install to Windows 11 two times, after installation completion I was able to login to Windows 11 but again after I restarted the laptop it stucked forever on the back login screen. Next day I was able to get the login screen and was able to login. But after laptop got hibernated, I started seeing black screen again. Tried restarting laptop multiple time but I get same screen.

I tried all options found online- CTRL+Shift+Wind+B etc but none of them working.

PS- I'm able to login to Windows 11 with safe mode.

Please help if anyone is able to fix this issue. This is really frustrating. I'm regretting upgrading to Windows 11

 

Windows 11 Black Screen with Cursor

I have a Dell Vostro 5481. After upgrading to Windows 11 it hangs on a black screen with a cursor for about an hour and fifteen minutes before displaying the login screen. This does not happen in safe mode.

I have tried everything, uninstalling/reinstalling the graphics driver, resetting the machine, doing a clean install of Windows 11 and nothing seems to resolve this issue.

I'm at my wits end with this machine. Does anyone have any suggestions?
