Windows 10: Windows 11 black screen on boot but PC otherwise works

Hello,Following recent cumulative updates, Windows 11 no longer loads on my PC and I get a blank black screen. The PC seems to be working-- The machine powers on, the monitor works, I am able to enter the UEFI menu normally, said menu recognizes my graphics card and storage media, etc. but as soon as I boot to Windows, the screen just goes black, although the PC remains on. No Windows logo appears. My LED keyboard remains lit, but my monitor says no signal. I tried following the normal sequence of keys to log in but it doesn't work, so I suspect it is frozen or crashing somehow. Has anyone enc

Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.

Try this quoted from "VisiHow" article "Repair Windows 7 Black Screen of Death":

They, also, have some other options there, too.
Google search and you will find a lot of the "Windows Black Screen of Death with cursor" fixes.

I suggest you to force restart the computer and check whether you can boot into the computer or not.

Black screen with no spinning dots when booting the PC
