Windows 10: Windows 11 black screen with no cursor when using AMD graphics drivers

I am currently on the most recent update of Windows 11 normal release not Insider Program. I have an AMD processor with integrated graphics and randomly lost the ability to use the official AMD graphics drivers. I recently factory reset my laptop due to slowing performance, however somewhere along the process my AMD graphics drivers corrupted causing my display to randomly crash to a black screen with no visible cursor. Through liberal use of the windows+ctrl+shift+b keyboard shortcut I was able to repeatedly refresh my display so I could access my device manager. My AMD graphics drivers wer

Windows 11 Black Screen with Cursor

I have a Dell Vostro 5481. After upgrading to Windows 11 it hangs on a black screen with a cursor for about an hour and fifteen minutes before displaying the login screen. This does not happen in safe mode.

I have tried everything, uninstalling/reinstalling the graphics driver, resetting the machine, doing a clean install of Windows 11 and nothing seems to resolve this issue.

I'm at my wits end with this machine. Does anyone have any suggestions?

 

Black screen with cursor when installing AMD drivers

Hello i have an AMD A8 7410 with Radeon R5 M430 whenever i try to install amd drivers after reset my screen goes black with cursor i tried uninstalling drivers with AMD cleanup utility but atill my screen goes black with cursor when i open my AMD 19.5.1
setup the problem started when i updated to1903 after a few failed attemts device Manager shows a exclamation next to amd R5 but not in Radeon R5 M430 i tried updating through device Manager but same problem

i can boot by hard powering off my computer

AMD Switchable Graphics in Windows 10: no HDMI + black screen in games

Hello,

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 with AMD/Intel switchable graphics: ATI Mobility 5650 + Intel HD Graphics (Gen 1).

Since my upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10:

• HDMI doesn't work. When I insert a device, nothing happens. VGA is working fine.
• certain video games show a black screen, but do have sound. I have tested this on
  Dishonered and Portal 2 (black screen with mouse cursor), but I found people having this problem with other games too.

This issue seems to occur to people who have 1st generation Intel HD graphics + ATI Mobility 5xxx/AMD 6xxxm.

My video drivers are fully up to date according to the AMD Catalyst Control Center, and Windows 10 is also fully updated.
