Windows 10: Windows 11 black screen

I updated my laptop to windows 11 but when it restarted after the update finished there was only my cursor visible and everything was black. When i restart it by holding power button down i could only hear the windows 11 startup sound and nothing else just a black screen with the cursor. Restarting doesn't work what should i do i have valuable date in the pc and i don't have a back-up.I can go in to bios settings and there is no black screen there everything seems to work in there
