    Windows 11 blue screening


    I am using an Acer Nitro laptop model AN517-51. It has an intel core i5 9300H processor running at 2.4ghz. It also has 16 gb ram and an nvidia Geforce GTX 1650. Over the last several days the laptop has blue screened twice. I just ran sfc /scannow at a command prompt and the scan found corrupt files and it said it was able to repair them. The first time it blue screened I was at the laptop. The blue screen said something to the effect Critical Process Died. The second time I was away from the computer. I was wondering if I could get some help troubleshooting this issue? The first time

    • Did you get a STOP code?
    • Did you install any hardware or driver recently?

    Windows 7 Blue Screen of Death!

    This is the first time i have ever got the blue screen, but it keeps on occurring, and so i cannot get onto that hard drive, it shuts down within a second of the blue screen showing itself, which doesnt give me any time to read it lol. So i am completely confused as there is no Path of: "C:\WINDOWS\Minidump" as well

    Thanks for the help, do you have any further suggestions ?

    Startup blue screen error(s) can occur if a problem causes your PC to shut down or restart unexpectedly. It could be due to the following:

    • Outdated device software drivers
    • Corrupted Windows update system files
    • Software/Security conflicts

    • Did you get any blue screen stop error codes?
    • Have you tried booting in Safe mode?
