Windows 10: Windows 11 Bluetooth Audio Connecting, No Audio output

Hello!I've looked through many posts with similar issues, but the Sony WH1000XM4s I recently got stopped outputting sound from my laptop after a recent Windows 11 update. I tried to connect my earbuds that I've also been using with this laptop and they had the same issue - listed as connected with audio, sound mixer says there's audio playing, but nothing coming out of the actual device. However, I was able to connect a PS5 controller via bluetooth and control my laptop through that, so it seems like it's just an issue with the laptop's bluetooth connection to audio devices. Bluetooth audio Problem

WIth my Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series, I have problem with audio output via bluetooth device.

My bluetooth is working very well with other device, for ex. Mouse.

When I connect audio device, the audio output is always with distrubance (crackling sound). Audio output in laptop speakers is normal and same with the AUX output.

I have double checked the drivers for bluetooth/audio/ and any other possible.

I appreciate any help/suggestions to this. Thank you!

 

Bluetooth audio devices connected but missing from available audio devices

Hi,

on my new Elitebook 1040 G8, Windows 11 21H2 does not include any connected Bluetooth audio speakers (Logitech Z537 and another speaker) and headphones among the available audio output devices .

Thus, these BT audio devices cannot be used for audio output.

BT audio devices are shown as connected in the Bluetooth panel but they are missing from the list of output and input audio devices in Audio panel, where only the Realtek (R) and the HDMI audio devices are present.









However, I noticed that BT audio devices are present in the Audio/Video Controllers item in Device Manager, though:





I tried everything I could think of, disconnecting and reconnecting the BT devices, adding each one of them as a new device from the audio output panel, but nothing worked.

Windows and drivers are up to date.



Any suggestion is welcome.
