Windows 10: Windows 11 bluetooth problem with mouse & keyboard

I've just upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. All was working fine at first. But then the bluetooth keyboard and mouse which I've used for many years on Windows 10 suddenly stopped working. I've been struggling with the new Windows 11 interface and have been unable to connect my bluetooth devices again. I see in the righthand side of taskbar an icon looking like a screen I don't know what you call it showing when pressed things like Wifi and bluetooth. To start with the bluetooth icon said "connected" I think. I pressed it and it immediately changed to disconnect bluetooth and whatev

i have the mirosoft bluetooth keyboard / mouse and i cant use it untill windows boots up meaning i have to plug up a corded keyboard to get to the bios durins stratup or post

does anyone know about this is there a fix tried searching myself no luck
