Windows 10: Windows 11 boot stuck after disable CSM and enable Security boot already in gpt

I already have my boot options as UEFI and partition type as GPT but , when i disable CSM and enable security boot, the windows 11 is not booting and my computer still stuck.

Disabling CSM and enabling secure boot makes my Boot drive disappear.

Windows 11 upgrade requires I enable secure boot on my PC, it's main use is as a home Plex Server, It has an Intel 8700k and I just use the integrated graphics UHD 630, I don't need a discreet gpu for this. I believe W11 supports this.

In the BIOS (gigabyte z370 motherboard) the Storage Boot Option & Other PCI Devices are set to UEFI mode.

To enable 'Secure Boot' I have to disable CSM support, which I do and enable secure boot but when my PC reboots it goes back to set up and there is no boot drives listed, I have to return the bios back to the original for my drives to show up, the Boot drive is a nvme Samsung 980 pro.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

My system uses UEFI and is booted using UEFI. It used to have CSM support enabled alongside UEFI but I disabled CSM support in order to enable Secure Boot. I also have successfully installed Windows 11 about a few weeks ago with no issues. I just need to enable secure boot as that is a requirement for several anti-cheat programs.

Windows was also installed using the GPT scheme and I know that my motherboard supports secure boot, just that when I enable it it'll get stuck in a Windows automatic repair loop.

Typically to be able to install or upgrade to Windows 11, BIOS would need to be in UEFI Mode with CSM disabled and Secure Boot and TPM enabled.

What method did you use to install Windows 11 on your PC that allowed you to do that without enabling Secure Boot?

If you disable CSM and enable Secure Boot there may be a problem booting Windows 11, sometimes that can be fixed by resetting the TPM keys in BIOS and then Windows will start.

Before you do try that option, please backup your personal files.

If you need to re-install Windows 11 from a bootable USB to enable Secure Boot, there will be no option to keep you personal files or apps, you would need to backup all your personal files before re-installing Windows 11.
