Windows 10: Windows 11 boots into safe mode, but black screen when I turn off/on to boot back regularly...

Cpu ram upgraded and compatible and updated biot, boots into safe mode. But not regularly what can I do to fix it back to normal without losing my data?

Can’t boot safe mode, but can boot regularly?

When I boot up safe mode, my screen is black and my computer is still running. Though, when I boot up my computer regularly it instantly loads up. My computer is running very slow, so I wanted to factory reset it, but it doesn’t seem like I can.

I have had problems with my system from time to time. Blue screen. I suspect it started after the June update (KB5027231). After trying ALL (except one) tips to fix blue screen, I restarted my computer in Safe Mode (msconfig).

Then the computer boots to black sceen.

Managed to get hold of installation media on USB. Starts fine with windows logo and then turns black. Two Esc and the computer restarts. Like an idiot I tried s e v e r a l times. And had it running during night.

No change.



The computer is a windows 10 from scratch and after some changes in the BIOS I managed to update to 11.

It is an x299 SLI plus with a BIOS version from 2018.

Looked at MSI's website and found a list of several newer BIOS versions. Chose 7A93v1I.

First line:

- Windows 11 Supported.

Ran m-flash and the computer booted fine in safe mode.

msconfig -> normal startup.

Works fine now.

 

unable to boot into safe mode

i have been hijacked, virus, everything. so i was told to boot into safe mode then run all of my virus and spyware scans. well i cant boot into safe mode, i turn off the computer using the power button, wait 30 seconds, press power again, as soon as i press that i press F8 and hold it down, i continue to hold it down and it just continues to go into normal windows boot....then i tried the same again, did the same. tried doing the same but this time "tapping" the F8 key, does the same...is there another way to boot into safe mode?
