Windows 10: Windows 11 breaking USB C to HDMI adapter

Hi I've been using a USB C to HDMI adapter for years. After updating to Windows 11 this has stopped working. I cannot use my third monitor which is annoying as a developer. As a developer I have been on a bunch of forums tried updating and downloading and messing with my drivers nothing has fixed it. I have tried to get a new adapter that did not work. My adapter is working on any device that has Windows 10. I would like to revert to Windows 10 but I've been past the allotted 10 days and I don't really want to go through the hassle of backing up my computer and using installation media, but I

USB C to HDMI Adapter not working

Got a Lenovo Yoga 920 earlier this week. Plugged my USB C to HDMI adapter in and it worked for a few minutes and than stopped working.

It is now identifying as a USB 2.0 Billboard Device which I belive means it isn’t configuring Displayport Alternative Mode properly.

Here’s what I’ve tried:

Hitting Windows – P to change project mode.

Going into display settings and detect display.

Checking for Updating graphics driver, USB drivers, check for updates.

Using a different USB C to HDMI adapter, a different TV, and a different cable.

Booting to safe mode with no services running.

Any thoughts for re-configuring the driver?
