Windows 10: Windows 11 brightness adjuster not working & sleep option not showing after recent updates...

Recently, after updating Windows 11, my brightness adjuster & sleep option stopped showing. The brightness is too much & hurts eyes even if you look at it for 1 minute as if it's on 100. Somehow, I was able to bring back brightness adjuster to show itself through youtube tutorials but the brightness doesn't change on sliding the adjuster. As you are unable to get the option for sleep in the Start menu, I suggest you to follow the steps provided by
John T in the link provided below and check:

Also, follow the steps provided below and check if you are able to adjust the brightness.

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update the driver.

Brightness Control not working in Windows 10

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

Why would my computer no longer have an option to Sleep? Or to adjust screen brightness?
