Windows 10: windows 11 brightness and sound bar still showing windows 10 version.

so the windows 10 version of sound and brightness bar is at the top left, windwos is 11 is suppose to be at the bottom middle of screen. please help me fixscreenshot shwoing windwos 10 soundbar on widnwos 11 laptop

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Brightness bar not showing in display module

Could you post a screenshot of what you're seeing.. the entire window?

Open Device Manager, check there are no yellow triangles.
Some suggest uninstalling the monitor resolves this:

Windows 11 Bugs (Sound & Brightness)

Windows 11 has been great, but these things kept bothering me.

First things first, keep in mind that I'm;

• Using ASUS TUF A15 laptop
  
• Have updated all of my drivers to its latest version (as of Oct 26, 2021)
  
• Have installed the latest version of Windows 11 (as of Oct 26, 2021) from the Windows Update
  

My audio was muffled, games and YouTube videos sounded very weird and muffled. I tried using earphones and speakers, but both sound muffled. I have tried disabling the "Enable audio enhancements" settings, but it didn't seem to do anything. Gunshots, footsteps in games sound really muffled.

I love playing FPS games, and I love playing at stretched resolution (5:4 or 4:3). However, using any resolution other than the native 16:9 1080p shot the brightness of my monitor up to the max, it was unbelievably bright. The brightness bar was still at my usual brightness (around 5-15), but in reality, it was the same as 100 brightness. I lowered it back to normal, but when I alt-tabbed back to the game, the brightness shot up again. I really don't mind playing at 16:9 resolution, but I do prefer my usual stretched resolution.

Moreover, any changes to my monitor setting immediately shot the brightness up again to 100. I had to readjust it every time, it gets really annoying.

I couldn't find any solution online, so this is probably my last resort. I rolled back to Windows 10. The problems I've mentioned did disappear after I rolled back. However, I'd really love to update to Windows 11 again if I could find the solution, so any help is appreciated.
