Windows 10: Windows 11 Brightness resets to 100% after Turn On

A while ago I updated to Windows 11 and I have a problem that did not get fixed: Brightness resets to 100% when I turn on my laptop. I did not have the issue with Windows 10. I tried every solution from power options to verifying system files with no success. There's something interesting I tried, and I think I figured out what causes the problem. I removed the discrete Nvidia driver since sometimes when I start a game the brightness jumps to 100%. The problem seemed to be fixed when the Nvidia drivers for the discrete GPU RTX 2060 aren't present. My laptop is from Dell, but I read on a supp

Brightness resets after reboot

Hi Marc,

In addition to the troubleshooting step that you have already done, we suggest that you try disabling the adaptive brightness from your PC. Follow the steps below and see if it resolves the issue:

• From the Search bar, type Power Options.
• Click Power Options from the result. Under Preferred plans, click
  Change plan settings.
• Click Change advanced power settings and select Enable adaptive brightness to turn it
  ON or OFF.

After saving the changes, restart your PC and check if issue still occurs.

Can't turn down brightness.

• When did the issue first begin?
