Windows 10: Windows 11 Browse For Folder Dialog Issue - Only Desktop

In several programs, when I need to set a folder location for example, and open the Browse Dialog, I'm only shown the Desktop folder. I can't access any folder outside of "Desktop". It doesn't make a difference to run the programs as admin.Specs:Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 Installed on ‎21/‎09/‎2022 OS build 22623.730 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22636.1000.0

Folder Name is not reflected after renaming the Folder in Import setting -- Browse for Folder dialog box

I have noticed the below mentioned behaviour/Issue

While Importing Photos from phone, Folder Name is not reflected in 'Folder' textbox after renaming the folder in 'Browse for Folder' dialog box

Steps followed to reproduce the issue:-

Connect Phone to computer using USB cable. Right click on the device when detected, click on 'Import Pictures and Videos', click on 'Import Settings', click on 'Browse' button then on 'Make New Folder' button
. New Folder will be created and allowed to rename. But the renamed folder name is not updated in 'Folder' textbox of 'Browse for Folder' dialog after hitting Enter button.

Note: When any folder is selected in Browse window, folder name is reflected in 'Folder' textbox. But if New folder is created and renamed, renamed folder name will not be updated in 'Folder' textbox.

Please let us know the solution for this behaviour/issue.

How do I disable the Experience/Assessment Index tool?

If you want to disable winSAT.exe then do the following:


Step 1. Go to Task Scheduler. You simply type it in the search box.
Step 2. Browse to Microsoft\Windows\Maintenance by clicking on the arrow for Task Scheduler Library folder with the clock on it.
Step 3. Disable the task named WinSAT. Which is found to the right in a small boxed window. Right click on the word WinSAT and select disable.

As for the changing desktop if you want to prevent it from shuffling do the following:
-right click on desktop
-click on Personalization
-click on Desktop Background
-Uncheck Shuffle
