Windows 10: Windows 11 BSOD - DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

I recently updated my PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11. The PC itself is about 3 years old but has been upgraded with new components about 18 months ago.Throughout this entire time, I ran Windows 10 without issue - no crashes and no BSODs.Since updating to Windows 11 about a month ago, I am encountering BSODs fairly regularly. The most common stopcode I see is DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. It occurs mainly when playing certain 3D games. One 3D modelling program in particular encounters it nearly every time - within 2-3 minutes of loading it the system locks up for about 30 seconds and I get a BSOD w

Check (enable) it then do Step #5 & test.

The above notwithstanding...

Are you still getting the DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs or...?

For us to effectively assist you to resolve the DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error, were there any changes made to your computer prior to this issue?

You will be getting the DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error if the hardware driver is having an issue. Please check the following thread to resolve this:
