Windows 10: Windows 11 BSOD on start

After a Windows 11 update today, explorer.exe stopped working completely: no taskbar, black desktop etc...Even after rebooting or using the task manager to open explorer.exe it shows as running but still no taskbar.I decided to use System Restore to revert to the previous update, but had a warning that I need to enable system protection on my C:drive before doing that, so I couldn't proceed with the system restore yet.I reboot my PC again, because I cant activate system protection from the boot menu apparently. But now for some inexplicable reason I start getting a BSOD with the CRITICAL_PRO

That's probably good news.

Quicker than uninstalling is to run "msconfig.exe" which is part of Windows. You can choose what runs when you start up the pc.

In the msconfig program untick all items on "startup" tab. Then go to "services" tab, tick "hide all Microsoft services", and untick the remaining services listed except hardware manufacturer ones (Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Realtek, etc.)

Try a normal pc boot then.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows 11 start menu 'suggested list' does not show files.

After deleting a file from the Windows 11 Start Menu "Suggested List", it does not appear in the "Suggested List" even if the file is used again.

Is there any solution other than initialization? I want you to tell me.
