Windows 10: Windows 11 camera app resolution list

Dear Sirs,We have a USB webcam which supports 2K video capture of 2560x144016:9 and 1440x25609:16. We could get the right image using Windows 10 camera app for all image aspect ratio. However, in Windows 11, the camera app get the 16:9 ration using image option and get the 9:16 ratio using video option. It is not possible to get the 9:16 for image option or 16:9 for video option. Everything is fine with Windows 10 camera app, but not Windows 11.What we can do? Thanks!Regards, MT

• The results after performing the steps posted on the link that we've shared.
• If you're getting the same resolution when accessing the camera app on the device where the camera is physically connected.

Success in resetting Store; that produced a download of the Windows camera, despite seeing error message again, download proceeded. Screen shows MS app for Windows camera and indicates downloaded. (Camera now listed in app list.) But when Launch was selected,
no action after screen with camera icon. Eventually message appeared " something went wrong: here is message code if needed: 0x400F4271>MediaCaptureFailedEvent>0xC00D3704. We seem to be moving ahead a step at a time. Next suggestion?

 

My built in camera doens't be recognized by windows 10 camera app

• Did you receive any error messages when you tried to use the camera with the Camera app?
• Have you tried updating the drivers of your built-in camera?
• Do you have any antivirus installed in your computer?
