Windows 10: [Windows 11] Cannot Open Additional Mouse Settings / main.cpl Despite No Corrupt Files

What else can I try other than a complete reinstallation of Windows to get my mouse Control Panel settings window to open again? I don't recall the last time it worked, I only know now that no matter what, despite sfc /scannow, DISM commands, uninstalling mouse drivers windows and logitech software, I cannot for the life of me get main.cpl to open. Double clicking "Additional Mouse Settings" under Windows 11 Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mouse only leads to the mouse cursor blinking twice as the "background process" cursor icon with no window pop up of any sort with any mouse or

Corrupted file RAR

If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:

• Open WinRAR application in your system.
• Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
• A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
• Now click Open button.
• Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
• Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
• Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
• Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
• WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.

I hope the above steps will help you repair the corrupted RAR archive.

Reset mouse settings in Windows 10?

• Navigate to Start>Settings>Devices.
• Click on Mouse and Touchpad.
• In the right pane, click on Additional Mouse Settings.
• Under Pointer tab, Click on Use Default.
• Click on Apply and OK.

Why are videos now opening with a single mouse click?

There's also a setting to INTENTIONALLY have items in Explorer open with one click. I gave it a try for kicks and never went back. It requires you to re-learn how you open much of anything, but once you've got it -- it makes things much faster.
