    Hello!I have Windows 11 . I wanted to play some videogames . I have a NVIDIA rtx 3080 Graphics card as well as an Integrated Graphics card. In all appearance, the graphics drivers are up to date . my NVIDIA control panel dosnt open , i cant acces to NVIDIA GeForce Experience application home or settings , i just can download the driver on it . my dedicated gpu appears in Device Manager etc. The issue is in Graphics settings, Windows does not seem to recognize the NVIDIA Graphics card as a high performance option. Please see the Screenshot.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    I have Windows 11 Education Edition. To pass some time I wanted to play a videogame on Steam. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 940MX Graphics card as well as an Integrated Graphics card. In all appearance, the graphics drivers are up to date i.e. checked NVIDIA control panel, NVIDIA GeForce Experience application, Device Manager etc. The issue is in Graphics settings, Windows does not seem to recognize the NVIDIA Graphics card as a high performance option. Please see the screenshot.

    Now I can force it to use a specific GPU by picking out that option, but then I get extremely irritating freezing and FPS issues in my game. Why is Windows 11 not recognizing the NVIDIA GPU as high performance? Why are these frame rate issues occurring if I force it to use that GPU? What can I do to play my videogame properly?

    Note: this issue always happens on startup, but occasionally "fixes" itself i.e. I see High Performance GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 940MX instead of Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620.

    Hi Jim,

    For us to properly isolate the issue with your Windows Hello, we would like to know the following:

    • Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g. updates, software installation)?
    • To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what specific troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you try reinstalling your camera driver to resolve the issue.
