Windows 10: Windows 11 can't see XBOX Series X to cast to

Discus and support Windows 11 can't see XBOX Series X to cast to in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I cannot seem to cast my PC Desktop to my XBOX.     Windows 11 can't see XBOX Series X to cast to


    I cannot seem to cast my PC Desktop to my XBOX. Both on wired LAN, both have remote settings enabled such as RDP and Wireless display.I see the adapter here but get this when trying to connectSo if the adapter is showing and the xbox is visible I can stream the xbox to my PC no problem then could someone update the XBOX app so it works?

    Casting Win 11 to a Xbox Series X

    I have an Asus Vivobook running Windows 11 & a Xbox Series X, the Xbox appears in the cast list but when it tries to connect, the screen on the laptop goes temporarily blank then reverts back to the desktop. I have the Wireless display app running on the Xbox. I have run sfc/ Scannow with no errors & all Xbox services are set to automatic. The Laptop will connect to my android phone & TV with no problems. Please help
