    I am trying to connect my digital mixer to windows 11 laptop new one via the jack output via a balanced cable to the jack inputs. However the sound doesn't come through at all into the mixer no matter what I select on the laptop as a source. The cable works as I managed to connect a sound output from a projector to the mixer and got sound so I know its not a cable issue or a physical jack input issue on the mixer.My digital mixer doesnt come up as a sound output option at all in Windows so I assume the issue is here with Windows not picking it up for some reason.

    Sound Mixer Issue

    I am having some problems with the sound mixer in Windows 7.

    Garrysmod seems to not like it! It sets the bar down very low so sound cannot be heard, so I have to change it up to whatever level I want every map!

    PIC RELATED. The bar goes very low, and this is the desired height for it now! Anyway to get rid of the sound mixer feature all together?

    Volume Mixer not showing muted app

    The application was muted on Windows 10 with November update. Now I am using Anniversary update, on build 14393.10

    The initial step did not help make Banished show up in the Volume Mixer, nor did the article.

    Windows 10 No Sound Output Through Mixer

    I have recently purchased an Acer Laptop with Windows 10 already installed. I had Windows support team assist with updates because I had a problem with that when I booted the computer up for the first time, out of the box. I plugged in my analog speakers
    to the 1/8 jack on the Acer and they worked fine. (Use them for watching TV.) I had sound. BUT when I ran a cable to my mixing board that outputs to my Mackie powered speakers, I get no sound. The input jack on the mixer can be either 1/4 or RCA. The test
    page on my Acer indicates that sound is being produced but it does not output to my Mackie speakers. I am a DJ/Entertainer/Musician and have used this configuration with previous version of Windows (Win 98, XP and 7). My Gateway laptop running Windows 8.1
    is working perfectly with this sound system setup. This is not a cable/ equipment problem. That has been ruled out. What is wrong with Windows 10? Can it be
    reliably fixed or do I have to get uninstall Windows 10 and install Windows 8.1 on my Acer as well?
