Windows 10: Windows 11 changed all background colors and I can't undo it

The Win11 update is horrible. The worst part is that it set my system background/accent color to a nasty brown color. Excel worksheets are now brown instead of white. Some webpages show brown background instead of white. I've spent over 2 hours with Personalization and web searches and cannot figure it out. Now do I undo this horrible feature?

change desktop background color

Hi,

To change the desktop background into a solid color, see the steps below:

• Right-click on the desktop, and select Personalize.
• Under Personalization, select Background.
• On the right pane, click on the drop-down menu for Background, and then select
  Solid color.
• Choose your preferred color and it should immediately make changes.

Wallpaper (background) color

Close all open windows, restart the computer once and then login to the computer to check if that helps.
