Windows 10: Windows 11 - changed my account to guest by using NETPLWIZ and making the WDAGUtility...

Hello, I was trying to access the windows app folder to make myself accessible. I tried to change the username but my control panel >> user accounts wasn't showing the change username option and in the process of that I ended up on NETPLWIZ to change my username. I changed the username and restarted the laptop but after that, I couldn't access any administrative process and when it asked for the password I wrote it. After that, it showed the "requested operation requires elevation". In the Command Prompt after typing net users, it shows the default account as a guest and WDAGutility acc

Hi Stefano,

I tried some of the Top-Password suggestions. The command line "net user" suggestion #5 told me that the PW change was successful - but actually not.

The account status shows as:

Administrator Default account Default user 100001

Guest howar WDAGUtility account

So I guess I am all out of luck. Thanks for the suggestions.

WDAGUtility acting as administrator

I had the hard drive replaced on my Dell laptop and it came back with WDAGUtility as administrator. I can't add or delete programs on my windows 10. I'm listed as local account. No one else is listed on the computer as a user.

1. I've tried going under settings and accounts. There isn't a family & other people to click on there.

2. Of course, I can't delete the antivirus, EST NOD32 antivirus.

3. There is no administrator listed to switch accounts.

4. After I type netplwiz in run the computer says I need the admin name & password but the only option is NO.

5. I've tried control userpasswords2, of course, I can't change anything.

Is there anything else I can try? I'm thinking I'm going to need to reinstall Windows.
