Windows 10: Windows 11 clipboard storing information even when it is off

So, I just discovered the Windows 11 clipboard. I cleared content that was lingering around for a while. Then i turned it off to see if it still captured information and stored it. I copied something and pasted it in web browser. Then, I went to clipboard settings, turned it back on and what I copied was now visible in the clipboard. I tested this a few times to make sure I was not mistakenly leaving it on. Each time, what I copied when clipboard was OFF, appeared in the clipboard when I turned it back on. THAT is a security issue. If someone is not using clipboard, they will not know that wh

Where is the Clipboard?

The clipboard is not something you can find. It is (at least on the windows phone) an inaccessible part of the phone, where your last copied text is stored.



This is how it works.

• You highlight a text, and say COPY.
• the phone OS puts information in the CLIPBOARD.
• You go another area where text can be input and tap PASTE. Whatever information is in the CLIPBOARD gets pasted.

How do I add information to the clipboard in Windows 11, I used to do it on 10, but now I seem to stop once I get the clipboard (logo+V)

Thanks again for the suggestions. I only want to change the size of the Clipboard Manager window. Guess I'll search for another Clipboard app to use. The old Clipboard in Windows 10 worked just fine, so of course Microsoft changes it for Windows 11.

I'll send feedback but I won't be holding my breath.
