Windows 10: Windows 11 color management BROKEN! A Disaster! Can't roll back to 10!!

Microsoft team, The consensus among people requiring correct color profiles for their work me. for one is that the Windows11 color management doesn't work, i.e. no profile changes any aspect of color. In my case I can "set as default" any color profile and NOTHING CHANGES!!! A number of Color Management forums are reporting this so it's not just me. I bought a new HP Pavillion pc a few weeks ago from Amazon assuming it was a Win10 machine that would upgrade to Win11with an update which I assumed it did on the first update. After banging my head to get the proper icc profiles to load

• Are you using an administrator access?
• Have you tried creating a new user profile to replicate the issue?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Send us a screenshot of the Advanced tab in Color Management.

ICC color management broken by Win10 update 1709

• Have you tried logging in a different user account and still experience the issue?

Windows 10 Screen Flashing/inverting colors

Hi,

Since troubleshooting steps were provided, what I can suggest is for you to try to configure the settings on your monitor's color management. Kindly follow the steps provided below:

• Open Color Management by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type color management, and then click Color
  Management.
• Click the Advanced tab, and click Change system defaults.
• Click the Advanced tab in the Color Management - System Defaults dialog box, and do one of the following:
  
  - To prevent Windows from loading display calibrations, clear the Use Windows display calibration check box.
• Click Close in the Color Management - System Defaults dialog box.
• Click Close in the Color Management dialog box.
