Windows 10: Windows 11 connects to the internet only after resetting the modem

Hi, I'm looking for help to solve this problem.I'm on Windows 11 and the PC can't connect to the internet, specifically it says "unidentified network". By configuring the connection manually therefore choosing an IP myself I can connect but not access the internet. On all my devices the internet works correctly and it also works on the same PC but using Ubuntu.Yesterday I also noticed that after resetting the modem the PC is able to connect and work, but all this happens until I restart the PC and then it returns to give me the same problem.This problem started suddenly one day and I was no

Please answer these questions to assist you better.

• In which browser are you facing this issue e.g. Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer?
• Do you get any error message?
• Have you installed all pending Windows updates?
• Do you face connection fluctuation in Ethernet connection?
• Is the issue specific to any particular website?

I suggest you to try connecting to Ethernet connection and check if face same issue. Also install all pending Windows updates Further you can refer the link below and follow the troubleshooting steps suggested.

If you've given Comcast your modem's HFC MAC address already, you should just need to reset the modem to defaults and it should pick it up.

If your modem is ready for Comcast's network, you should see it listed on your account at comcast.net
