PROOF HERE: Windows 11 Home and Pro Version 21H2 - Microsoft Lifecycle Microsoft DocsJust saw that Windows 11 will have a shorter lifecycle than previous versions. My speculation: Microsoft will go the way of Apple's operating systems, and release a major version of Windows every year. So, next year, should we expect Windows 12? And if so, will this be a free upgrade for current Windows 11 users? It looks like Microsoft is trying to compete with Apple.We'll see what the future holds at Build 2022 next year.

IE 11 end of support

Hello,

Could you tell me how many years in advice will be notify to customer of IE 11 end of support?

Could we consider October 14, 2025 is the reasonable expectation of IE 11 end of support?

Is there are any policy say that the browser will being support in the whole life cycle of the OS? Could we use the end of support of Windows 8.1 (January 10, 2023) for the IE 11 end of support? Since Windows 10 is serving option OS (OS as a service)
which is different than 8.1
