Windows 10: Windows 11 "couldn't install this update" 0x800703e6

So I tried to install Windows 11 22H2 today, and it says "We couldn't install this update, but you can try again 0x800703e6". After searching around, I tried SFC /SCANNOW, which outputs "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service", and then I tried DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, which outputs "Error: 998 Invalid access to memory location". I then ran CHKDSK /F and restarted, but nothing changed after the restart. So then I downloaded the windows 11 installation assistant, which gave the same error code as the windows update 0x800703e6. Does anyone know how

Update KB4550961 couldn´t be installed

Hi! I´ve tried hard to install KB 4550961 unsuccessfully. Even run this or that in order to correct whatever the problem might be.

However, after restart it appears “Updates couldn’t be installed” on the screen. Running Scannow and Restorehealth as Administrator didn´t
work either.

I´ve also gone step by step thru “Fix Windows Update errors” steps 1 to 5. I´m reluctant to follow Step 6 Reset or Reinstall Windows –
Refresh is not included - because I´m afraid I might loss some stuff important, though I created a restoration point and a USB recovery drive, just in case.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
