    Windows 11 crashes and flashes black screen frequently


    I bought a new Acer laptop for a year and it has come with Windows 11 and there has been this persisting problem. The screen sometimes flashes black for a few seconds and if I'm playing a video on YouTube, it interrupts the sound and the quality of the image like reducing from 720 to 480. Sometimes the screen crashes or shakes too. Even though it always returns to normal after that, it's still annoying. My display drivers are all updated whenever I check. I update Windows regularly too but the problem remains. Help?

    Black flashing screen

    My Dell XPS running Windows 10 continues to have a flashing black screen. I have tried all the suggestions but to no avail. The only additional observation I can make to help identify the problem is that the flashes are more frequent at start up but gradually
    declines as time passes. Also it happens when I'm using a Microsoft product, e.g. IE 11 or Outlook.

    • Are you getting black screen before sign in or after sign in?
    • Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
    • Have you installed all the pending Windows updates?

    Black Screen after Log on


    So this is not a BSOD ? Have a Windows 10 disc or USB Flash Drive made ? How are you getting to task manager Ctrl.+Alt+Del ? Any cursor on screen ?
