Windows 10: Windows 11 crashes while shutting down - failed to unmount the drive?

I have been having lots of Blue Screens since I have installed Windows 11 but I think these may be a result of external factors.Now, last night I was trying to shut down my machine and my external HDD failed to turn off and so my PC froze for a minute and then crashed.Here is the minidump:https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqAf9FvrwDpSgXptIODvCyEbPENm?e=oYymez

Windows 10 shutdown doesn't unmount despite......

  How exactly you are trying to unmount the drive. Is it through Command prompt or from Disk management?

  What exactly happens when you try to unmount?
  
• 
  Did you receive any error message while trying to unmount?
  

I suggest you to try the steps given below and check if it helps.

Please close all the Windows before trying the steps.

  Open Disk management.
  
• 
  Right-click the mounted drive that you want to remove, and then click
  Change Drive Letter and Paths.
  
• 
  Click Remove, and then click Yes.

it is possible to make Windows unmount all partitions/drives at shut down ?

Write your own script that unmounts drives and shuts down.

Write another that mounts your drives at startup / logon.

Should be a few lines, possibly as many as drives you have to mount/unmount.
