Windows 10: Windows 11 crashing at startup and wont boot after updating.

2024-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems KB5040442Install error - 0x800f0845 After updating to above mentioned version of Windows 11 my PC wont boot and go in loop to restart and go into recovery mode. How can I solve this issue? Please help, Thankyou.Specification are as followsrocessor - Intel Core i512600KMotherboard - Asus Prime Z690-P D4RAM - 16GB Crosiar Vengeance RAM 3200MHzGraphics Card - Zotac RTX 4070 12GB

Windows 11 safe mode boot missing Startup Settings option

We are deploying new desktops with Windows 11. I was writing up procedures for booting in safe mode in Windows 11. There were many options to get to Troubleshooting option but all methods had steps :

1. After the computer restarts to the Choose an Option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.
   

When I select the Troubleshooting option, my Advanced Options screen does not have a Startup Setting option. My only options are Startup Repair UEFI Firmware Settings

Command Prompt System Restore

Uninstall Updates System Image Recovery

How do I boot my Win 11 PC in safe mode from a cold start?

 

Windows Vista Startup Problem ( Dual Boot)

I've got a dual boot set up on my computer, with Windows XP Professional 32bit & Vista Ultimate 64bit.

I haven't booted into Vista for quite some time now because I get better performance from XP. But now, if I try to boot into Vista, it goes through until after the Welcome screen & just gets stuck on a black screen with the pointer showing.

I have tried repairing the startup using the Vista CD.


Any suggestions?
