    Windows 11 Critical Process Died when attempting to play Flight Simulator


    Hello all,I'm not sure what's going on, but my computers locks up with CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED BSOD when attempting to play MS Flight SimulatorHere is the MEMORY.DMPG file. I do not have C:/Windows/Minidump directory https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqXiQ5gKCYw7tjHX1Jbsh-Y87j6FSo far I have attempted disabling realtech audio and updating all the chipset, motherboard drivers, windows 11 is up to date Please advise,Thank you

    Microsoft Flight Simulator issue after Windows 10 Upgrade

    Hi Rahul,



    Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.



    I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

    Refer the steps below to uninstall.

    • Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
    • Open programs and features.
    • In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
      Remove.


    Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



    Reinstall the Flight Simulator.



    Please reply to us if the issue still persist.

    I understand it can be frustrating when the application stops working. In order to get clarity on the issue, please reply with the answers to the questions below.



    • What is the current build of Windows 10 you are using on your computer? You can refer this article to

      Check for the operating system information in Windows 10      .
    • Was there any change on your computer, prior to which you did not face this issue?
    • Are you using Flight simulator or Flight simulator X?
    • Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the application?


    If the issue is with Flight Simulator X, I would suggest you to refer the article on

    Activation message after you play Flight Simulator X for 30 minutes     and check if it works for you.
