Windows 10: Windows 11 Deactivated after latest Update

A few days ago, my home-built PC running Windows 11 for last few months started showing the "Activate Windows" message in the lower left corner.I have a digital license linked to my Microsoft account, and initially installed Win11 Pro back in January.I believe the issue started after installing Windows 11 Update KB5012592.Things I have tried:Troubleshoot activation: Clicking on "I changed hardware on this device recently" which I have NOT by the way:See other devices linked to your Microsoft account:Nothing shows up. I am logged into the same account as always. But, when I view my device

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

To help you out with your concern, we suggest that you disable the add-ons in Internet Explorer 11. For step by step instructions, go to this

link, then look for the title Turning off and removing add-ons.

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

• Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
• Choose Internet options > Advanced.
• Click Reset.
