    Hi all!I just recently installed Windows 11, previously I used Win10, and I've never encountered this issue. My problem is that the Defender Firewall is blocking random websites on the internet, without any further explanation, just got ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED when try to reach them. I know that firewall do this because if I disable the firewall for my connection, the websites are reachable without problem. I need those websites and these are safe for sure. Is there anything I can try to lower this strange security level of firewall? My environment:Freshly installed Windows 11, with all rece

    Windows Firewall blocking websites

    I have blocked IP addresses, e.g. 255.255.255.255, not URLs, e.g. somewebsite.co m.

    As far as unblocking, look at your Windows Firewall rules. Do you see anything that is blocked? If you do, click on the Scope tab and see what is listed there.

    I do not wish to confuse the issue, but yes, Windows Firewall is able block specific IP addresses. I have about two dozen blocked right now.
