    Windows 11 Defender latest updates could not remove or quarantine Backdoor:MSIL/Crysan.ARWA!MTB


    I just updated my Defender anti-virus signatures. And it found a virus on an external drive. Windows 11 Defender latest updates could not remove or quarantine Backdoor:MSIL/Crysan.ARWA!MTB/What can I do?

    windows defender detects but cant remove Trojan msil crypinject C!MIL.....

    C:\Users\Admin\Downloads\krnl\krnlss.exe

    Trojan msil cryptinject C!MIL

    I cant get windows defender to remove/quarantine this virus, any help would be appreciated.

    Removing Quarantined Items in Windows Defender

    Windows Defender quarantined some harmful items but did not remove them from my pc. Windows Defender did not request removal. Should I just leave the items quarantined or remove them myself? If removal is recommended, how am I to go about

    doing so, as Windows Defender did not list the items in the Detect section where threats are placed for removal?
