Discus and support Windows 11 desktop icons are having poor and low standard settings. in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Why in new windows 11 is getting low graded, in windows xp they added new start menu, in 7,8,10 came up with additions, but in win 11 they dont allow...     Windows 11 desktop icons are having poor and low standard settings.


    Why in new windows 11 is getting low graded, in windows xp they added new start menu, in 7,8,10 came up with additions, but in win 11 they dont allow desktop icons of some of apps and they dont allow to make shortcut directly from start menu. it looks like they are de-grading windows OS by updating it.

    Here are the steps on how to create a desktop shortcut in Windows 11.

    Click on Start> All Apps> Choose an app and right-click on it.

    Place the mouse pointer on More>Open File location, right-click on the app, and click on, Show More options.

    Click on Create shortcut.

    If you just want to pin the app to the taskbar, then you can follow these steps.

    Select Start, select the arrow next to All apps, right-click the app, then select More > Pin to the taskbar.

    Windows 11 desktop icons are having poor and low standard settings.

    Remove Linux Desktop Icons

    I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.
